Look, don’t get me wrong, I like guns.  It’s fun to go shooting.  I carry a firearm regularly.

But I’m definitely not what you’d consider a “gun nut”.

Much to my husband’s chagrin, my eyes glaze over when he tries to talk to me about anything beyond stuff that directly applies to me – you know, stuff like the pros and cons of different guns or calibers, accessories for his gun, or different holsters he has an eye on.  I just don’t care (sorry sweetie!)

Even though this makes for some less-than-exciting conversations for me sometimes, the plus side of this is that I have a go-to hobby I can buy gifts for for special occasions – and there are so many options out there!

But if you’re at a loss for what to get the “gun nut” in your life, here’s a list to get you started.

10 Gift Ideas for Gun Nuts

Fun Targets

I bought these for my husband a few weeks ago, actually, and he hasn’t gotten a chance to use them yet – but we’re both super excited to try it out.

They’re available for $12.99 on Amazon and come in a pack of 8.

Shooting Gloves

My husband distinctly prefers outdoor shooting ranges, but being in the cold isn’t his favorite – so these gloves are awesome.  These ones are available for $19.99 on Amazon.

Gun-Shaped USB Drive

Available for $14.99 on Amazon.

I’ve seen a few of these on Amazon, and I think they’re awesome.  This one was my favorite because it has a 32 GB capacity (versus the others that are 16 GB or less) and I like the silver (versus the black ones) because I think it’s less likely to get lost.

A New Holster

While holsters are kind of personal (everyone has their preferences!), I love this one with the Thin Blue Line design – it’s available for $34.99 on Amazon.

Holster Running Shorts

These are awesome!  I actually have the female version of these, and they’re great for packing while you go for a run.  They also work well under clothes for deep concealment.

Available on Amazon for $59.99.

iTarget is awesome.  It’s a laser bullet/target system that allows you to effectively dry fire practice at home – which means you can get more practice in with your firearm, and save money on ammo.  Win-win.

The whole system is available here for $89.

I actually reviewed iTarget a few weeks ago, so if you’d like to know more about it, be sure to check it out: The Best Way To Practice Shooting At Home

Ear Protection

These ones are awesome, because they allow you to hear conversation, but still block out all the harmful noise from the shooting range.  If you get two of them, you can guarantee a better date night at the gun range – because you’ll actually be able to talk to each other!

These are available on Amazon for $34.99.

Cleaning Kit & Supplies

I’m a big fan of this one with the nice case (available on Amazon for $19.99).  If you get this, don’t forget to pick up some more cleaning supplies (like gun bore cleaner and oil) – trust me, it’ll get used!

A New Range Bag

Has it been a while since your husband bought a new range bag?  If his is looking a little shabby, maybe it’s time to get a new one.  This Glock bag is available on Amazon for $34.99.

If you’re really not sure what to get your husband, ammunition never fails.  You won’t find this on Amazon, but go to your local Cabela’s or Sportsman’s Warehouse and you can pick up a box or two 🙂

And if all else fails, gift cards go a long way.

Anyway, I hope you’re feeling less overwhelmed about finding a gift for the gun nut in your life now! 🙂

Great ideas! My husband is super into guns, and I'd love to get him a new one, but it's just not in the budget. These fit a little better and are super useful: 10 Useful Gift Ideas for Gun Nuts
